How can I make Jean shopping not a horrible experience for back to school?

I hate Jean shopping with a passion. I can never find nice ones. I am 5'5 and 140 pounds. I have a big curvy butt and a small waist with thighs that go in. Where can I find flattering jeans?? In what color/wash and in what store?|||What store? that's your choice because it really depends. I personally like delia's, american eagle, rue21, levis, but thats just because all of their jeans come in petitie, short, reg or tall.. but i would for sure go for dark washes! light ones arent really cool anymore.|||Rue 21
