WebVan, which has since gone out of business, had a great idea with online grocery shopping and grocery deliveries right to your home. Despite the demise of the original company, other companies conduct online grocery shopping, even some of the large grocery chains.
What do you think about online grocery shopping now? Are you aware if it's available in your area? What would make you use it?|||My local store used to offer on-line shopping. I used it at the busiest times of the year (holidays). The selection wasn't as good as going to the store %26amp; someitmes the produce wasn't 100%. However, it was very conveinent. I loved being able to shop in the middle of the night, get my groceries delivered at 4:00 in the morning %26amp; not having to fight crowds. If there was a local on-line grocery store, I would use it at least once a month.|||We have it in Boston.
PEapod by Stop and Shop is a great servce|||all major supermarkets in the uk offer this
i use it
its great, you browse the aisles on line, send in your order
and its delivered when you want it to be
i love it,|||I just wanna talk about my opinon on this.
I personally wouldnt wanna do this becaus ei wouldnt know who works there, would the food spoil, would it taste bad, where does it come from?
Then i thought about older people and how they cant walk to the store everyday as i do,
u think this would be a great idea for disabled people.|||We don't have it where I live, but if I did, I would use it. I could do all my shopping without hauling my 3 year old to the store.|||We have it in our area but I don't like it.|||It's not available in my area and I don't think I would use it even if it was. I'm a little iffy about not being able to see the meat and produce before I get it delivered. At the grocery store I can pick the freshest looking produce there and I'm not sure if I would get quite that quality by letting someone else pick out my groceries for me.
