What problems do parents have while shopping and pushing a pushchair?

I'm conducting some research around a product idea that would assist parents who use a pushchair/pram/buggy etc. Specifically, what issues do parent(s) face while shopping (specifically with carrier bags/shopping bags) and pushing a pushchair/pram/buggy etc?

For example, do you have problems with storing the bags on your pushchair/pram/buggy etc? What about public transport-wise?

Thanks.|||Once the small carry basket in the bottom of the pushchair is full the only place you have to hang shopping on is the handles which is functional and necessary for most pushchairs but some have a long bar instead of small handles which means there is no room for a lot of shopping.

More than anything, public transport + buggies + shopping = a big problem due to lack of space. We have the disabled area which you can store upright pushchairs but there's not a lot of room at all so the bags end up running into the space in the gangway making it difficult for passengers to manoeuvre around them in an already tight space.|||Trying to carry a basket, or push a trolley, at the same time as pushing a buggy. Trying to carry all the bags home as well as pushing the buggy.

As for public transport, it's usually ok now that the buses have specially allocated space for them, and the floor that lowers. But, if there's already 1 or 2 prams on the bus, you can't get on.|||My own bugbears are:

Carrying a supermarket basket whilst pushing a pushchair/buggy

Hanging too many bags on the handles whilst pushing a pushchair/buggy (makes the buggy topple backwards!)

Carrying items to the checkout whilst steering the buggy (very tricky!

Narrow aisles

Inconsiderate fellow shoppers and staff

Goods piled in the aisles which you can accidentally knock over with a buggy wheel|||The things with buggies is they just get in the way. You can hang things on the handle bars but as soon as the kid gets out it tips up, and there isn't enough storage space underneath.

Using public transport with a buggy is suicide. Not only do you get dirty looks from all the other cramped passengers but it's just such a hassel.

You can never win with buggies:

Too small - Not enough Storage Space

Too Big - No where to store the buggy itself plus the increased hassel of using buses etc.

I think those two aspects are the only things i really have issues with

Hope I helped x|||i dont use public transport but if i walk somewhere and put the bags on the pushchair its usually fine unless ive got a lot of bags it gets heavy so you have to constantly hold the pram just incase it tips backwards which can happen with the cheaper pushchairs so it depends which one you have (mine is a maclaren and they are good for shopping). people generally get in your way and see that you either have lots of bags on the puschair and need to get past and dont move, very few cars will stop to let you cross, but i guess that depends on a lot of things and is different for everyone, ist usually a lot harder when you have a pushchair for going out and shopping, i dont recommend piling up your shopping on the handles not only is it dangerous it can break the prams.|||When my son was smaller I had a travel system (I will post the link). It had plenty of storage underneath for several items. The only problem I ran into was when I went to the mall in every store the racks were so close together I couldn't get the stroller between them because it was so wide. It was a pain because if my son was sleeping in his stroller I could only shop the outer racks because I didn't want to take him out and wake him up.
