Where is the best shopping area in Paris?

Im planning a trip to Paris around December time, and have no idea which area/ region I should stay in!?

Its mainly for shopping so does anyone know where I can get a mix of designer stores like armani, jimmy choo ect, then just affordable high street store and the occasional market/ boutiques.|||While looking online, I came across this website. I hope this helps with your vacation.

Have Fun!|||I wouldn't stay in this area, because it's quite expensive, but the best shopping area is on the Champs-脡lys茅es, which is in the eighth arrondissement. I recommend staying in the Latin Quarter, or in the Marais, as both areas are very central to most Paris locations.

Some other good shopping locations are Rue St Honor茅 and Rue du Faubourg St Honor茅, as well as Rue Cler (a funkier outdoor marketplace near the Eiffel Tower).|||Jimmy Choo is off of Madeline stop and in Paris you CAN get Chanel and Dior, Louis Vuitton, Jean Paul Gaultier and Givenchy here at 7/8 Arriondrossiment.

You can also take the RER A train to Val d'Europe for the outlets and get LongChamps, Ralph Lauren and more at much cheaper prices. La Madeline is where the pricey things are. (on the Metro Stop Purple 14 -Balard) http://mappery.com/maps/Paris-Metro-Map.鈥?/a>
